Fosshotel Reykholt is a romantic hotel in Borgarfjörður, just a few minutes’ drive from the hotspring Deildartunguhver, the Lava falles (Hraunfossar) and Húsafell. The hotel bears the mark of being on historical site, where the restaurant Kringla and the bar Urðarbrunnur (Urdur’s well) are.

Nes in Reykholtsdalur lies about 3 km./1 mile distance from Reykholt. There is accommodation, made beds or sleeping bag space, in two adjoining houses.

Near the town is a nine-hole golf course. Nes is well located for excursions around the main natural pearls in the district and for longer day trips, e.g. out to Snæfellsnes.

Steindórsstaðir is in the south of Reykholtsdalur, a little inside Reykholt. The land is about 2900 hectares, in addition to which half of the mountains of Búrfell, about 1500 hectares, belong to it.

They offer accommodation in 7 rooms in made-up beds, with breakfast. Guests can bring their own food, as there are cooking facilities in the house and all the necessary utensils.
